It' probably because Traxxas is like 15 minutes from where I live. Traxxas is the only thing all the hobby shops around here carry. One of the shops has an indoor short course track and an outdoor track. AND a rockcrawl course indoor...
Anyways I went brushless and lipo batts. I have the VXL3 with the 11.1 5400 lipo, it's pretty insane
