Been a bit busy lately.
The 110 is a Land Rover Special Vehicles built one for SWEB (South West Electricity Board). They use them in some crazy places to access pylons so they are built from new with Quaife LSD Salisbury rear axles, HD Chassis, uprated suspension, a vacumm trailer brake system, winches...etc etc.
I've had it for 10 years now and I've changed the suspension several times. Currently running Terrafirm Big Bore longer dampers and +2" springs, the front turrets are -1". Diff guards are by QT and theres a hefty steering guard under there as well. The raised air intake is mixture of bits, the standard elephants trunk goes from the filter to a 90deg stainless steel bend that goes through the bonnet (or hood as you'd say), then its attached to a 'Rebel' snorkel from there on up. The whole thing is attached to the rollcage with zip ties as they don't break when you hit trees like brackets do. The side sills are jackable. I designed the roll cage and had it fabricated by a back street blacksmith, its loosely based around the Safety Devices Camel Trophy type cages but with full length external bars to protect the alpine lights. Internally there are hoops behind both rows of seats and at the rear. There are a few electrical extras on it; lights obviously, a CB, extra 12v outlets, T-Max twin pump compressor...there are loads of extra tweeks, high flow water pump feeding water directly to the wiper blades etc...I'd be here all day just trying to remember everything
Here it is again, taken this morning on my way back from work
Will
