After 7 years the XORRA is taking 2011 off to explore future development possibilities for the series. We would like to thank everyone that has been part of our race series over the years.
Maxxis Tires along with Creighton King and Brad Williams has been a fantastic title sponsor of Xtreme Off-Road Racing. Their support of not only the series but the racers has been paramount in our success. Rancho Suspension, our longest running partner and Bob Willis of Rancho have been a great advocate for our sport and we thank him and Rancho for all they have done for the series over the years. Through the backing of companies like Warn Industries and PowerTank who both produce the finest products in the nation for the off-road industry, we have seen our organization consistently grow. Raceline Wheels and Greg Mulkey have shown their support for the series time and time again. Raceline doesn’t just back the series and our teams they also make one of the toughest wheels out there, (rock race proven). Lastly, we would like to thank our newest partners Dynomax Exhaust and Atx Wheels for seeing and understanding the possibilities that the XORRA delivers. Again, THANK YOU to all the companies and individuals that have supported the XORRA Series.
We realize that we would have nothing if it were not for the talent and dedication (occasionally insanity) that comes from our race teams. We have been very fortunate over the past years to have met some of the finest friends anyone could ask for. Their energy and passion is what makes the XORRA an industry leader. There are too many names to list of those that have touched us over the years however, we must say a special thanks to a few individuals that have been with us since the start and have made this such a great series to be part of, Cottin and Randy Rodd, Jason Feuilly, Jt Taylor, Shannon Campbell, the Lucky Dog Race Team, Rick Deremo and Ray Mandel.
What would a race series be without fans? Year after year we see many of the same faces in the crowd cheering for the action of the XORRA. The fans pump up the drivers and bring out the excitement of race day. We could always count on our loyal fans to post up there videos and pictures of the race weekend and offer us ideas on how to make the series even better. Thank You to the fans of Xtreme Off-Road Racing.
There would be no race without a race track so we must give a big thank you to all the property owners that have taken care of us over the years, Ray Mandel, Chuck Martin, Jason Pariott, and Tony Cousins. We could not have made this the series it is without your efforts to push the envelope and help us to build bigger and better courses each year.
Last but by no means least the XORRA, Jodi and Mike, want to thank all our best friends/crew that have taken time out of their busy lives to come out and be part of this series. Without these dedicated individuals there is no way we could have built such a great organization. Thank you to Ricci and Todd Warmpickle, Brett McFarland, Pepper, Don and Linda Dodson, Troy Brady, Chad Beal, Glen Hood, Jason Vanover, and all the other folks that have come out to eat dust, get heat stroke, stand in the pouring rain (or snow for that matter) for a raw (or burned) hamburger to watch the antics of our insane racers. You all are Awesome! Thank you will never be enough.
Look for a full schedule of race dates for the 2012 season.Thank You,
The Weavers/XORRA
