#697 Well I have a slash now...I haven't seen any of the Losi one's you were talking about around here. It' probably because Traxxas is like 15 minutes from where I live. Traxxas is the only thing all the hobby shops around here carry. One of the shops has an indoor short course track and an outdoor track. AND a rockcrawl course indoor...
Anyways I went brushless and lipo batts. I have the VXL3 with the 11.1 5400 lipo, it's pretty insane

We have the capability to build anything now. I would like to build chassis and race prep chassis for others.....We placed 5th @ Glen Helen and WHOPED Shannon Campbell, and 2 other Kings. We placed 20th in the Stampede but we suffered with 3 hours of lost time due to over heating issues. Take the 3 hours off our time and we would have finished top 5. sooooooo
I was on here before.. my user name was dorrinet. But I tried to log in and it keeps telling me that I have the wrong password. I went through the whole email thing with the token and it then told me that the token I was using was invalid... What is going on? So I got fed up with it and just made

This is a Japanese Domestic Market 1985 BJ-61 Toyota Land Cruiser with the indestructible 3B 3.4 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine and 5 speed transmission. This truck was recently imported from Japan. It is exceptionally clean, all original and in very good condition with only 92,500 kilometers (57,500 miles).
Body/Interior:
The wagon body features a rare high roof and overall is in excellent condition without any major dents, dings or rot. The clear coat is intact and the metallic blue/gray paint has retained it's luster. There are a few scratches that will easily buff out with a polisher. The interior including seats, instrument cluster and doors are all clean and in showroom condition with no signs of wear, sagging or damage (check out the pictures). The electric moon roof is working great without any leaks or problems. The tires are Bridgestone Duelers and still have tread on them. The engine and engine bay are exceptionally clean with no rust and many parts retain the original anodized plating. Check out the original factory/assembly stickers on the firewall! This truck is right hand drive, meaning the steering wheel is on the right hand side.
There is some rust, but no rot on the frame. On the photos you'll see some rust bubbles starting to form on the outer lip of the wheel well. This is a common rust area on the 60-series and is easily cleaned up. There is some rust on the rear bumper. The rear bumper will need to be replaced or repaired.
Engine/Transmission:
Both the engine and gearbox are in excellent condition. The engine is a 24 volt 3B 3.4 L 4 cylinder connected to a h55 5 speed transmission. This BJ61 Land Cruiser runs and drives very well. Engine starts right up after heating the glow-plugs and runs smoothly (for a diesel). The transmission shifts smoothly and runs quietly. The truck has a PTO gear box attached to transmission, but the winch was removed by previous owner. The two 12 volt batteries are brand new.
Everything on the truck is operational and doesn't requires any work or repair. It is a clean, original, unmodified vintage diesel Land Cruiser, however please remember that this is a 26 year old truck. Despite their reputation as being indestructible, this truck and will require some “tweaking and tuning”. It is not a “perfect” truck nor has it undergone a full restoration. This could make a perfect daily driver as it is both comfortable and fuel efficient (MPG in the mid to low 20s!). With a little work to the wheel wells, this Cruiser can be brought to “like new” condition, enjoyed as-is or converted into a fun biodiesel project.
This vehicle has been legally imported and has all US Customs, EPA and DOT paperwork. It has a New Jersey title and registration.
Heya Anything Lifted. Wanted to let you know that we have two new trucks! The 1985 BJ 61 is suppah fun and all original. We're also expecting a 1983 HJ60 in mid-October. Check us out and let me know what you think http://bit.ly/jdmbj61.
